This weld qualification opportunity is open to the membership for individuals seeking an AWS D9.1 qualification using the GMAW process on 18-gauge galvanized sheet metal.

Prequalification is required. All participants must attend the April 15 prequalification night before being eligible for a testing appointment. This session will allow participants to practice the required welding procedure and demonstrate competency before attempting the qualification test.

Participants who successfully demonstrate competency during the prequalification session will be eligible to schedule an appointment for Weld Test Day on Saturday, April 17.

Weld testing will be conducted by appointment only from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
